    azonOnto:description "The aim of the paper is to discuss the concept of deconstructivism in architecture on the example of the Philharmonie de Paris designed by Jean Nouvel and opened in 2015. The new philharmonic hall is located in famous Parc de la Villette which was the first deconstructivist layout, created by Bernard Tschumi in 1982. This location defined cultural context of the newly erected object. \\nTheoretical and formal characteristics of Park de la Villette and Philharmonie 1 are analyzed and compared. That comparison leads to the conclusion that the concept of deconstructivism in architecture is still actual, although some important changes between the first and the second phase of this current could be distinguished. The differences and similarities are defined and explained in the text. The author of the paper explains how the architecture of the new edifice illustrates the transition from discontinuity, layering and fragmentation, observed in Parc de la Villette, to fluid and continuous forms that appear in the most recent building. \\nThe paper addresses also the present-day approach to the cultural context of the place that allows to perceive the newest architectural objects as an important part of our heritage. Finally the original and innovative form of the edifice dedicated to the music is commented and analyzed.\\nThe conclusion of the research is focused on the role of so called iconic contemporary buildings that determine the turning points in architectural currents and tendencies."@en ;
