azonOnto:description "Dome&Stick is an innovative, mobile and deployable, low cost housing solution, which will bring the answer to one of the biggest issues in today’s Europe - the migration crisis. The design consists of a single basic element. This element provides a quick initial build, with flexibility in the shape, and the possibility to customize the shelter later on. \\nThe main element consists of a wood slab with different joints at each end. The joints consist of one central hole, which allows for rotation, surrounded by a number of holes around the center. By placing these holes every 30 degrees an one side and 40 degrees on the other, the angle of the joint can be adjusted with a precision of 10 degrees. This allows us the flexibility to create different geometries according to the needs. The element is also small enough to be stored in a box and transported with Euro-pallets. The strength this element provides allows for the customization of the walls. In this way a basic shelter can turn into a more permanent accommodation."@en ;
